Project activities vary throughout the year, but the volunteer is going to be involved in many social places like kindergarten, school, elderly home, second-hand shop, sport equipment rental (BUA) and some occasional projects/events. The volunteer is going to take Norwegian language class once a week.
Social activities
organizing activities and supporting the existing ones (for people in different age group or ethnical background) such as inclusion games, energizers, cultural workshops, language exchange, integrational activities).
Promotion/information
support assistance in management of projects, administrative tasks, promotion of volunteering, youth initiatives and programs, creating multimedia content which can be used to inspire/inform others, creating posters, digital content for social media, posters)
Own ideas
being a volunteer in Askvoll open the door to self-improvement, the volunteer might try to perform own projects, take self-initiated, and find cooperation partners to create something cool together (art wall, cooking event, concert, art performance at the institution/school)
